Over many years the Victoria Golf Club’s (VGC) charity golf events have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for deserving local charities.
For the past 12 years the Club has raised over $855,000, most of which has been directed to the Victoria Women's Transition House (VWTH), an organization dedicated to providing housing and support to women and their children escaping violent family situations.

Located on a 20-acre historically significant hilltop site in the rapidly developing community of Victoria West, Bayview Place is the most significant mixed-use development in the city’s history. With construction already underway and Roundhouse construction to begin soon, this distinct neighbourhood is poised to redefine the geography of downtown Victoria. The remaining developments will include four major residential towers, a senior’s residence, public parks, dining, market, and retail districts.

The Victoria Women’s Transition House provides discreet housing, counseling and programs that support approximately 200 women and children at their emergency shelter each year as well as thousands more in the wider community who have been affected by domestic abuse. Many families are able to recover and rebuild in this safe, protected environment.
By encouraging healthy patterns of living, Pacific Centre Family Services enhances and promotes the quality and dignity of life of individuals and families within our diverse community.
Kids need sports. Not only for the obvious health benefits, but sport also allows kids to learn team, work, fair play, dedication and commitment, increasing their sense of self-confidence, all of which leads to happy, productive lives in the future. KidSport Victoria’s goal is to ensure that kids from low income families can participate in a season of sport.
